Democratic lawmakers are making ready to journey to El Salvador with the objective of securing the discharge of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland father who was kidnapped by the Trump administration and mistakenly despatched to a brutal most safety jail within the Central American nation.

On Sunday, Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen despatched a letter to Milena Mayorga, El Salvador’s ambassador to the US, requesting a gathering with President Nayib Bukele to debate the matter.

The Trump administration has defied courtroom orders to return Garcia and Trump recommended to Bukele that Americans is also despatched to jail services in El Salvador.
