Carquinez Strait and Delta, Central Sacramento Valley, Southern Sacramento Valley and Northern San Joaquin Valley are the main focus of a wind advisory launched at 1:19 a.m. on Friday by the Nationwide Climate Service. The advisory is legitimate between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m.
“South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected,” in line with the NWS Sacramento CA. “Strongest winds expected through the early afternoon.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS mentioned. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
