1000’s of Microsoft 365 clients reported having points with companies like Outlook on Saturday.

In a sequence of posts on the social platform X, the corporate mentioned it was investigating the difficulty, which affected numerous Microsoft 365 companies.

“We’ve identified a potential cause of impact and have reverted the suspected code to alleviate impact,” Microsoft mentioned within the posts, which had been revealed by an organization web page devoted to addressing incidents tied to its workplace software program applications.

Knowledge from Downdetector, which tracks outages, confirmed hundreds of stories from customers.

Outage stories for Microsoft 365, and Outlook specifically, peaked round 4 p.m. Japanese Customary Time earlier than dropping off, and a few customers started saying their entry was restored.

Earlier this week the communications platform Slack additionally skilled an outage that left hundreds of customers unable to make use of the service.
