Verizon is teaming up with ForgiveCo to clear $10 million in shopper debt for greater than 6,500 North Carolinians impacted by Hurricane Helene.
The communications firm mentioned the debt reduction marketing campaign is aimed toward aiding with the continuing restoration following the September 2024 storm.

The random act of kindness was along with Verizon’s preliminary $400,000 donation to United Method of North Carolina following the storm.
