“Eligible employees will receive severance pay, career transition services, and subsidized health care benefits up to 3 months after exiting the company,” the corporate stated beforehand.

BOEING ISSUES LAYOFF NOTICES AS AEROSPACE GIANT CUTS 17,000 JOBS 

The cuts are coming by layoffs or by not filling vacancies in efforts to revamp the corporate following a tumultuous yr that started in early January when a panel blew out mid-air on an Alaska Airways flight.
