Campbell Historic Museum explores ‘Growing Up in Campbell’

The enjoyment of recess is a part of the interactive exploration of childhood within the Campbell Historic Museum’s newest exhibit, “Growing Up in Campbell.”

The exhibit affords a glimpse into what life was like for kids within the Campbell space and Santa Clara Valley throughout the early 1900s by means of the lens of residence life, faculty and play. Guests can get hands-on with among the and toys and furnishings designed particularly for kids—ideas simply rising throughout that point.

Day by day chores that formed life within the valley–from constructing outhouses to serving to with orchard work—are addressed within the exhibit, which additionally delves into faculty life with shows on early 1900s curriculum and transportation. Genuine faculty desks from the period are additionally on show.
