Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) stated it’s “natural” that Vice President Harris has modified her immigration insurance policies over time.

Pritzker joined CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday after Harris campaigned in Arizona, visited the U.S.-Mexico border and referred to as for harder border safety. Anchor Jake Tapper requested the governor why Harris walked again her earlier stances on immigration reform.

“It’s natural, of course, that you adapt your policies to meet the moment,” Pritzker stated.

He pointed to mass migration globally that has begun to “increase significantly” during the last 4 years since Harris’s first run for president.

Pritzker stated Harris is exhibiting she would stand behind the bipartisan immigration invoice crafted within the Senate earlier this yr, which he stated former President Trump “torpedoed.”
