Stock Futures Rise, Treasury Yields Tick Higher

U.S. stock futures edged higher to start the month as investors awaited fresh earnings and clarity later in the week on the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate plans.

Futures for the S&P 500 added 0.4% Monday, after the index last month recorded its largest percentage gain since November 2020. Contracts for the tech-focused Nasdaq-100 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average each rose 0.4%.
