CONCORD — Authorities on Tuesday recognized a person who was fatally hit by a automobile on a metropolis avenue late Sunday.
The collision that killed 55-year-old Anthony Rizotto occurred about 8 p.m. on the intersection of Monument Boulevard and Reganti Drive, in response to police. The Contra Costa Sheriff’s Workplace recognized him publicly Tuesday and stated he didn’t have a listed metropolis of residence.
Authorities stated Rizotto was making an attempt to cross Monument Boulevard when the crash occurred. They didn’t say whether or not he was strolling inside a crosswalk.
Rizotto died on the scene.
The driving force of the car that hit Rizotto remained on the scene and cooperated with police. Police haven’t made an arrest.
