The terrorist group Hamas could also be planning an assault on “Palestinian civilians” within the Gaza Strip, the U.S. State Division introduced Saturday.

In an announcement, the State Division mentioned that it “informed the guarantor nations of the Gaza peace agreement of credible reports indicating an imminent ceasefire violation by Hamas against the people of Gaza.”

It didn’t present any particulars on the potential assault, the goal or location, or when it’d happen, solely saying that it “would constitute a direct and grave violation of the ceasefire agreement and undermine the significant progress achieved through mediation efforts.”

“Should Hamas proceed with this attack, measures will be taken to protect the people of Gaza and preserve the integrity of the ceasefire,” the State Division added. It didn’t disclose what these measures may entail. 

Baskin additionally defined that Palestinian militia teams which are against Hamas had been armed by Israel throughout the battle in an effort to weaken Hamas’ energy.
