Pleasure Lee (Newlon) Adams 86 of Bridgeport handed from this life on to her everlasting reward on Oct. 9, 2025. She was born Jan. eleventh, 1939 daughter of the late Thelma Susan (Nutter) Newlon and Norval Dain Newlon and spouse Mary.
She was married for 58 years to Homer D. Adams who preceded her in demise.
She is survived by three kids, Duane Adams (Teresa), Dale Adams (Debi), and Deanna Saliga (Michael), and grandchildren, Ashley, Josh, Tiffany, Jason, Jonathan, Andrew and Elizabeth and nice grandchildren, Eladio, Amora, Isaiah, Isaac, Brody, Jordan (deceased), Zoe, Alivia, Emberly, Levi, Adam and Xavier. She can be survived by siblings Mary D. Minigh (Steve), Howard Bailey and Melody Anthony.
Along with her mother and father, stepmother, husband, Pleasure was preceded in demise by two step sisters, Anna Mae Cauffman and Martha Lynch.
She was an auxiliary volunteer for United Hospital Heart for 40 years. She lived a full life and shared many fantastic adventures alongside the best way touring to all 50 states within the US and fulfilling her dream to go to Israel. Wherever she traveled and whomever she met, she lived as much as her title, all the time attempting to deliver a bit pleasure into the lives of others. However her biggest need was to deliver pleasure to her Savior, Jesus Christ. From a small little one, she was energetic in church by singing in church providers, enjoying piano, serving as a youth chief and choir director. Her comfortable place was all the time related to music, from Sunday afternoon sing-a-longs within the parlor of Grandpa Newlon’s home to singing on varied worship groups all through her life. She was all the time happiest when her three children bought collectively to sing in church, and she or he had no bother confronting pastors and requesting particular songs on Mom’s Day or “Mary Did You Know” (by Duane) at Christmas. Towards the tip of her life she would ask her kids, “Have I done enough for Jesus? She would say, “I just want to make sure I’ve done all I can for Him.” If there was ever a girl who heard Jesus say, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord.” it was Pleasure Adams. We’ll share one closing reminiscence of her. As her closing days drew shut, her caregivers have been getting her prepared for mattress. After she was settled, she started to sing softly, “Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah! I see Jesus coming for me.” … and that’s precisely what He did. Thanks for all of the “Joy” you’ve delivered to so many in your life. Your non secular legacy will dwell on.
