Congressional Cowards is a weekly sequence highlighting the worst Donald Trump defenders on Capitol Hill, who refuse to criticize him—regardless of how disgraceful or lawless his actions.

In one more signal that GOP lawmakers don’t have any disgrace with regards to defending their Expensive Chief, a number of Republican members of Congress made the insane declare this week that President Donald Trump’s vile birthday message to Jeffrey Epstein was cast.

A photograph from the Home Oversight Committee displaying what’s allegedly President Donald Trump’s lewd birthday card to Jeffrey Epstein.

The lawmakers have been taking cues from the White Home, which claimed that Trump’s signature on the birthday word just isn’t actual—suggesting that somebody practically 25 years in the past had the foresight to forge Trump’s signature.

“From what I’ve seen, it’s not his signature,” Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida stated, though it is vitally clearly Trump’s signature.

And, in true Republican style, Rep. Tim Burchett of Tennessee used it as a possibility to show consideration again to President Joe Biden’s use of an autopen.

“I do not know. I imply, anybody can do a signature. We’ve seen autopens been used fairly a bit by the Biden administration,” he stated.

“The president says he did not sign it. So I take the president [at] his word,” Home Oversight Committee Chair James Comer informed CNN.

Comer, who spent two years investigating Biden, added that he has no plans to analyze Trump over the letter.

“You asked if I’m going to be trying to figure out whether that, you know, fake or not, probably not. We’re going to be trying to get justice for the victim,” he stated.

Equally, Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio informed CNN that he does not “buy” that the signature was Trump’s, and that he does not assume that the Home ought to examine Trump’s ties to Epstein. However what else would you count on from somebody accused of refusing to guard sexual assault victims when he was a wrestling coach on the Ohio State College?

Rep. Eric Burlison of Missouri tried to drag the infamous “I haven’t seen the letter” cop out when requested about it by CNN’s Manu Raju. However when Raju pulled out a replica of the birthday message, Burlison refused to take a look at it.

“I do not need to see it,” he stated whereas laughing.

Home Speaker Mike Johnson additionally ridiculously claimed to haven’t seen the word.

“I’ve heard about it. But no,” Johnson informed reporters. “And the White House says it’s not true.”

In the meantime, Democrats are mocking Republicans for his or her blatant lies.

“So let me get this straight … 20 years ago, Democrats forged Trump’s signature on a creepy birthday card to a pedophile … planted it in Epstein’s estate before Trump even ran … and then waited to release it until *after* Trump got reelected? Got it,” Rep. Jim McGovern of Massachusetts wrote on X.

“I’ve two eyes. You might have two eyes,” Rep. Eric Swalwell of California informed CNN. “Anyone who looks at that letter which was provided by the Epstein estate knows whose signature that was.”
