In line with a legal criticism filed within the U.S. District Court docket for the District of New Jersey, Cherkaoui harassed and threatened to dox a 13-year-old lady, finally coercing her into chopping herself on a livestream.
Cherkaoui allegedly has ties to the 764 community of “nihilist violent extremists,” aka NVEs, which targets younger folks for harassment with the objective of inflicting them to hurt themselves.
In line with Folks, the sufferer blocked Cherkaoui after he blackmailed her into chopping herself the primary time.
She defined in a social media publish that she had harmed herself as a result of she was afraid of how offended her dad and mom can be if her home was doxed by strangers.
Investigators say Cherkaoui received across the block and messaged the sufferer:
“YOU NEED TО DO IT AGAIN. THIS TIME DO IT LIVE ON CAMERA.”
The threats escalated till Cherkaoui allegedly coerced the sufferer into chopping herself once more. Police imagine the lady was not his first goal.
“YOU DESERVED IT HАHА… IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN AND AGAIN UNTIL YOU FINALLY COMMIT [suicide],” he allegedly wrote to a sufferer of sexual abuse.
“HEY GUYS IT LOOKS LIKE WE ACTUALLY KILLED A PERSON,” he boasted to a different 764 member after receiving false data that that individual had died by suicide.
In a publish from September, Cherkaoui defined that 764 targets minority kids as a result of they really feel it’s “better for them to be removed when they’re young before they grow up and become a bigger problem …. They marginalized [i.e., minority] kids are a very good high-value soft target.”
The group can be tied to a case in Detroit involving “brutal and gruesome videos of animal torture.”
In line with the FBI, 764 was began by Bradley Cadenhead, a 15-year-old in Stephenville, Texas, who named the group after the primary three digits of his ZIP code.
“We’ve looked at violent crimes against children for many years, but this just takes it to a whole different level,” the previous head of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division, David Scott, not too long ago tells ABC.
